“Adopt a talent” was born to support and accompany young musicians during their journey to pursue a musical career.

This project is the evolution of the initiative “Adopt an Instrument”, through which more than 20 young and promising musicians have been able to receive on loan of free use a valuable tool that would support them in their growth.

With “Adopt a talent” the project expands to offer further support to the artist’s path.

The career, in the world of classical music, has always required commitment and resources. In recent years this sector has also undergone important changes and musicians, even the most talented, must diversify their skills to be successful.

The Foundation aims to support young talents in their training, trying to offer them the means, including scholarships, to pursue an artistic career.

Thanks to the contribution of the Benefactors, the Foundation will have the opportunity to provide support to the young musician in all necessary areas.

Send your application by writing to info@fondazionemonzino.it

Also with this goal, since 2018, the Foundation collaborates with the authoritative “Le Dimore del Quartetto Association”.

… A bit oh history: “Adopt an Instrument” started in 2009 in collaboration with the Camerists of La Scala and it saw select young musicians in respect of their talent. They were entrusted with an antique instrument of high violin-making  from the Monzino Collection. The aim of “Adopt an Istrument” is twofold: to revive the instrument ang give it a voice; to guarantee a continuous cultural and professional growth to young artists by guaranteeing them a loan for a long time.
